Telecommunications is one of the fastest growing fields in business today. Paced by ever-changing technology, those involved in this dynamic industry know the value of belonging to an organization that provides meaningful contacts and information, helping you to become a more effective telecommunications professional. The Intecom Users Group Association (IUGA) is just such an organization.
Founded in 1981, the Intecom Users Group Association is a nonprofit, incorporated group, made up of corporations, hospitals and universities that own and operate Aastra Intecom products, including:

- Alachua County
- Battelle Memorial Institute
- California State University
- Community Medical Centers
- Deltec
- Internal Revenue Service
- Microsoft
- Sprint
- Union College
- Villanova University
IUGA members have diverse telecommunications and data backgrounds and expertise (operations, technical support, planning, voice and data experience). IUGA is governed by a board of directors comprised of members elected by the association. The IUGA Board of Directors' charter is to encourage participation by members and develop the annual conference.
Product Input
As a member of IUGA you will have opportunities to participate in Product Direction Teams (PDTs) with Aastra Intecom providing direct influence on future enhancements to Aastra Intecom products. You will have the opportunity to network with other Aastra Intecom customers and increase your knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
Annual IUGA Conference
Typically held in the spring, the conference focuses on learning about new Aastra Intecom products and upgrades as well as networking with other Aastra Intecom users. Aastra Intecom senior management, product managers and support personnel attend the conferences to readily discuss your ideas and views about Aastra Intecom products.
IUGA Listserv
Members of IUGA have exclusive access to a listserv that allows members to ask questions via email or get feedback from other members on general technology as well as Aastra Intecom-specific topics.
Network With Other Aastra Intecom Customers
IUGA provides many opportunities to communicate with other members to exchange ideas and information. IUGA also provides tools such as a membership directory and site profiles to help in that process.
