Description: The successful candidate will participate on project teams of engineers involved in development of Aastra VOIP products, and would be primarily responsible for all aspects of the specification, design and implementation of Human-Computer-Interaction, including Internet Web-based services and User Interfaces on embedded products.
This role requires an energetic and self motivated individual who is able to learn quickly and apply UI development knowledge to create modern graphical and textual user interfaces with high levels of usability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write detailed design specifications, develop (C/C++, PHP, Apache/IIS) and test features for user interfaces
- Work with PLM to develop Web Services and Internet Portal technology
- Analyze, debug and resolve problems from internal and external customers
- Participate on engineering teams involved in peer reviews of specifications and code
Requirements:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Applied Science
- Strong C/C++, PHP, CSS/HTML development experience and knowledge
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Understanding and experience with OO methodologies a plus
- Knowledge of VOIP network architectures (SIP, RTP/RTCP) a plus

Purpose: This position is directly responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business sales opportunities for Aastra Intecom’s products and or services.
Responsibilities:
- “Hunt” for new business opportunities in order to appropriately position Aastra Intecom to WIN (must understand the direct selling process)
- A successful track record in selling large complex systems. An individual that has met or exceeded sales targets in previous years.
- Understand the customer’s business (discovery) and technical requirements to define strategies to successfully sell Aastra Intecom’s products and or services
- Performs Executive Level Presentations
- Create sales proposals for prospects and customers
- Close sales and build relationships for future sales
- Manage customer base in order to ensure growth, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Meet and exceed sales targets for future growth potential
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have an associates degree or it’s equivalent with 3+ years of outside sales experience in a technology field (preferably Telecommunications, with an emphasis on VOIP)
- Demonstrated solid business sense and successful negotiation skills
- Be an entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker with the imagination and foresight to conceptualize new opportunities
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and writing skills and the ability to communicate complex technologies in a clear and simple manner
- Must be able to travel
- Be a highly competitive self-starter that is results-oriented, yet able to operate very effectively in a team based environment
- Demonstrate mature judgment, integrity, flexibility, stability
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience selling Enterprise telecom solutions and/or large complex sales engagements
